Once enrolled the State DVR program as a participant, the services assist individuals identify vocational goals based on their interests, values and abilities. The goal is for the individual to develop work skills to become “competitively” employable. Once an individual is ready for competitive employment, Bayaud staff assists them to find and maintain meaningful employment. Participants also learn how earned income may impact their public benefits and can then plan accordingly.
