Housing Navigation

Bayaud provides supportive housing stability services to currently housed individuals residing in affordable housing. Housing Navigators assist long-term, at-risk residents with mental, physical, or intellectual disabilities living in affordable, permanent supportive housing units.

Who Can Receive Services?

Anyone who meets all the following criteria:

1. Denver Resident 

2. Person with a confirmed Intellectual and Developmental Disability (I/DD) or Person Seeking I/DD Designation 

3. Experiencing any kind of housing insecurity

  • Homelessness
  • At-risk of losing housing
  • Needs different housing

What Services Does BE HOME-IDD Offer?

Services vary from person to person, but may include:

  • Assistance with documents (birth certificate, social security card etc.)
  • Applying for/keeping public benefits (food assistance, Medicaid)
  • Support with finding housing
  • Assistance with housing forms
  • Connection to community resources
  • Mental health counseling (therapy)
  • Caregiver/family support
