Our Future Vision

Bayaud programs, services, and social enterprises advance the self-sufficiency, health and wellness, and life goals of the people we serve. Through the 2020-2023 strategic plan, the Board of Directors advocates that its members and Bayaud employees be representative of the people we serve, including those in leadership roles.  The Strategic Plan outlined four focus areas: expand social enterprise ventures and self-sufficiency programming; align policies, procedures, and standards with best practices in service delivery; inspire a culture of excellence; and improve internal operating infrastructure that supports the changing needs of Bayaud constituents.  A new strategic planning process is now underway for implementation in 2024 – 2026.

Valuing Diversity

An updated Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) policy has been established championed by employees, participants and Board members alike. The anticipated outcome is the creation of desired cultural changes necessary for achieving an open and inclusive organizational environment that supports participant and employee success in an equitable and inclusive manner. Evidence of success of a robust DEIB culture will be that employees show up each day feeling safe to be their true selves.
